This post is not about the arguable dental benefit of fluoride applied to teeth, but whether the touted benefit is worth the detrimental and toxic effects of systemic water fluoridation.  T his concerns not only effects of neurological harm to babies and infants, but growing evidence of it being a contributing cause of Alzheimer's condition, bone cancer in boys, osteoporosis, and other medical conditions. While information both pro and con states that fluoridated water may have a benefit due to its momentary contact with teeth as it is swallowed, both sides seem to agree that the alleged benefit ends there. Be sure to check my other posts on this site! 1/rz The Investigation Part 1 The key takeaway information in this report is: The current $40,000 "third-party investigation" appears to have had no apparent legitimate purpose. There was no "complaint"   other than some unseen, apparently fictionalized one conjured up by President Joling. Joling apparently initiated the process of an investigation without informing the Village Board. To the extent that there might need to be a dispute resolution of some kind, Joling appears to have  ignored the policy procedures directed in the Employee Handbook. Dan Joling    appears to have directed the course of the investigation as it took place ; providing documents and questions for the interviewees, he also was a witness and I would say a "person of interest" allegedly being responsible for a gross waste of taxpayer money.  It appears that h e   had a  clear personal stake in the outcome of the investigation. Yard Waste Site Part 2 - tAdding Insult to Injury

  This is a follow-up post to the previous  post "What a Waste of a Yard Waste Site" found elsewhere on this blogsite.         As if the original loss of a great yard waste site wasn't enough, now this news comes out of how   undervalued   the property was at the time when Kronenwetter sold that land.    It turns out that even with a left-hand thread, the screw job that the Village got under the "leadership" of (then) President Chris Voll, Village Administrator Richard Downey, and particularly Community Development Director Randy Fifrick, was worse than we knew.    It appears that after Kronenwetter's staff-promoted an ill-advised, under-informed sale of the 29 acre yard waste site property to the neighboring granite pit owner Mitch King for something like $258,000, King has recently sold the operation including Bevent and Reid properties for  a cool $3.5 million.   The county land records show that the total val...
