Village Clerk Resigns - Davel and Joling's latest "Achievement"

 

 James Davel has said repeatedly that he wants to "change the culture of Kronenwetter government". It appears that he is doing that by eliminating diligent, knowledgeable workers who favor open, honest government. First Rutherford, then Wegner, now Poyer.

   In my opinion, this Davel/Joling partnership has brought nothing but betrayal to taxpayers and destruction to Kronenwetter, and this is the latest. 

I'll post more on this issue later today, along with the complaint against Davel and Joling that Poyer refers to in her resignation.

Joling apparently initiated the process of an investigation without informing the Village Board. To the extent that there might need to be a dispute resolution of some kind, Joling appears to have  ignored the policy procedures directed in the Employee Handbook. The Investigation Part 2.5 - Open Records Antics

Be sure to check out my other recent posts!   A4 I have a few questions about the latest (June 22) Village Board meeting. They have to do with my observations of: Another apparently illegal closed session meeting among a list of others. Extraordinary commandeering by the Village Board of the Village Clerk's duties as records custodian for questionable purposes. The Board's redaction of records without providing a legal reason. Joling's history of opposition to Open Records and Open Meetings. The Village Board firing an employee in almost the most inept, lawsuit-inviting manner possible. More incompetence, more lawlessness, more weak, failed leadership (all alleged).
